A team-based walking adventure exploring the city (a brand-new treasure hunt<\/strong> created by Tanya Yurasova* and Sayara Thompson).<\/p>\n

How well do you know Cambridge? How observant are you? To find out, please join us for our fun “treasure hunt”! The “treasures” are not real, of course \u2013 they are merely some of the buildings and lanes of Cambridge that you’ll need to identify from photographs and find in the city centre in order to answer a number of questions. After a brisk stroll around the city, we’ll meet to name the winners and celebrate!<\/p>\n

When: <\/strong>Sunday 26 September, 15:00 – 17:30 (BST)\u00a0
\nWhere: <\/strong>Outdoors (please dress accordingly)\u00a0
\nMeeting point (start and finish):<\/strong> Diana’s Rose Garden – in Christ’s Pieces<\/a> park between the Central Bus Station and the Grafton Centre.<\/p>\n

Language:<\/strong> Russian\/English. You only need to be able to speak one of the two languages in order to take part; all questions will be in Russian and English. Bring along your Russian- or English-speaking friends, colleagues and family members!<\/p>\n

Teams of 4 people<\/strong>. You may form and book your own team or, if you are new and don’t know many people, we can help you to form a team \u2013 a great way to make new friends.<\/p>\n

Fee: <\/strong>FREE for CamRuSS members; Adults \u2013 \u00a33; Family \u2013 \u00a35 (two adults and children under 16 years old). Please pay with cash at the event.<\/p>\n

Registration is required<\/strong>. Please register by filling in this form<\/a><\/strong><\/u><\/span> as soon as you can, but no later than Friday 24 September<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

What is it?\u00a0<\/strong>The \u201ctreasures\u201d are visual \u2013 they are sights in central Cambridge; you will need to spot them from photos, find them, and answer some short questions. The idea is NOT to check your knowledge of Cambridge, but to have fun in pleasant company, enjoy the scenery, and possibly learn a few interesting facts. Hence, please bring along your smartphones<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 you will be allowed to use Google!<\/p>\n

By the way, please don\u2019t be misled by the picture \u2013 it is only an illustration. We are\u00a0not<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0revealing the real questions to you!<\/p>\n
