On the eve of the 130th anniversary of the writer\u2019s birth, Irina Georgievna Mineralova will talk about the works of M.A. Bulgakov, who was one of the most versatile Russian and Soviet artists of the XX century, a writer, playwright, theatre director and actor.<\/p>\n
WHEN:<\/strong> Friday, 7 May 2021, 19:00 (BST) FEE:<\/strong> Voluntary donation*<\/a><\/p>\n Please note that there will be slides with texts in both Russian and English. <\/strong>Additionally, the core thesis of Irina\u2019s talk will be translated into English in the chat by Moscow philologist and Irina\u2019s son, Georgy Mineralov, who kindly agreed to provide support with this lecture in order to make it available for English speaking participants. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with a Zoom joining link.<\/p>\n About the speaker<\/strong><\/p>\n Irina Mineralova<\/p><\/div>\n Irina Georgievna Mineralova is a literary critic and Professor of the Department of Russian Literature and Journalism of the XX-XXI centuries at Moscow State Pedagogical University (MPGU). She is the author of 5 monographs, 6 textbooks and teaching aids, not to mention more than 300 articles on the theory and history of Russian literature, children\u2019s literature and methods of teaching literature. She also authored a book of poems entitled “A Bouquet of Autumn Leaves.”<\/p>\n Irina Georgievna graduated from Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushinsky in 1975, where she received a diploma with honours majoring in \u201cthe teaching of Russian language and literature.” Afterwards, she successfully completed her postgraduate studies at the A.M.
