We are delighted to welcome Andr\u00e9-Marc Delocque-Fourcaud who is a writer, curator and keeper of the legacy of his grandfather – prominent Russian art collector of late 19th and beginning of 20 century Sergei Shchukin.<\/p>\n

Andr\u00e9-Marc Delocque-Fourcaud is the President La Collection Chtchoukine Foundation and Associate curator of the forthcoming exhibition \u2018Dance with Shchukin\u2019 which will take place at The Pushkin Museum Moscow June-September 2019. <\/a><\/p>\n

He co-authored the recent publication \u2018The Collector: The Story of Sergei Shchukin and His Lost Masterpieces\u2019, which was published by Yale University Press in 2018.<\/a><\/p>\n

Andr\u00e9-Marc worked over 30 years in the cultural industry in France, holding various positions within the Ministry of Culture and museums. He was awarded Knight of National Merit and Knight of Arts and Literature awards.<\/p>\n

Andr\u00e9-Marc Delocque-Fourcaud will come to Cambridge to talk about the mystery behind the portrait by Fyodor Botkin, which accompanied Sergey Shchukin in his live travels-both in Russia and in France. Whilst unfolding the story of the portrait Andre-Marc will share breathtaking insights into his family history and the avant garde visions of his grandfather.<\/p>\n
