There will be plenty of opportunities to eat, drink, relax, play outdoor games, run around, meet new people and catch up with old friends.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>PLEASE BRING: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>FOOD &amp; DRINK<\/strong>\u00a0(hot or cold, soft or alcoholic) to share, including something for the barbecue.<\/li>\n<li>Also feel free to bring footballs, volleyballs, frisbees, badmintons, skipping ropes, guitars or indeed any other kits &amp; tools that would spice up our time together!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>HOW TO FIND US:<\/strong>\u00a0<em><span class=\"il\">Wandlebury<\/span>\u00a0Park, Gog Magog Hills, Babraham, Cambridge CB22 3AE.\u00a0<\/em>From the car park, follow the main path for a few hundred yards. It\u2019ll take you up a hillock. On the other side of the hillock, when walking down the slope, look right \u2013 across the grassy field. You will, hopefully, see a crowd! This is where the stationary barbecues are \u2013 very easy to find!<\/p>\n<p><strong>DIRECTIONS FOR DRIVERS:\u00a0<\/strong><span class=\"il\">Wandlebury<\/span>\u00a0Country Park issue signposted with brown Country Park signs off the A1307 Cambridge to Haverhill Road, 2.5 miles south of the Addenbrooke\u2019s Hospital roundabout.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MAPS:\u00a0<\/strong>Please click here for the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.camruss.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Wandlebury-Location-Version-43.pdf\">Diagram of the roads<\/a>\u00a0and for the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.camruss.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Wandlebury-Layout-Version-4.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Location of the picnic area<\/a>\u00a0in the park.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PARKING:<\/strong>\u00a0Visitors\u2019 car park at the Main Entrance off the A1307. There is a parking charge so you might like to share cars.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BUS:<\/strong>\u00a0Stagecoach Gold Number 13 to Haverhill (on Sundays) \u2014 just under 20 minutes from Drummer Street (Cambridge). Departs at 20 minutes past each hour, but please double-check this before aiming for a particular bus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BICYCLE<\/strong>\u00a0(25 min from Cambridge City Centre): There is a separate, safe cycle path alongside the A1307 Hills Road, leaving Cambridge, from Addenbrookes Hospital past the Babraham Park &amp; Ride to\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Wandlebury<\/span>\u00a0where it ends. There is no cycle path from Haverhill to\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Wandlebury<\/span>. NB No cycling in the park is allowed, except for under 8s.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DOGS:<\/strong>\u00a0need to be kept on a lead in the Park, but can be freely exercised in the adjacent Gog Magog Trust area.<\/p>\n<p>We hope to see you there!<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please join us for our traditional fun and fiery outing in the open air!
