This became one of the first major sparks that ignited the fierce fire of the Russian Revolution.<\/p>\n<p>In this talk, the art historian Dr Natalia Budanova will discuss how the changed role of women in the new post-revolutionary society influenced the work and creativity of female artists, as well as how the new ideal of femininity was reflected in early Soviet art.<\/p>\n<p>The talk is followed by AGM 19:15-21:00 and drinks reception.<\/p>\n<p>Language: English<\/p>\n<p>Entrance: FREE for everyone<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr Natalia Budanova<\/strong> is an independent art historian and a member of the Cambridge Courtauld Russian Art Centre (CCRAC) advisory board. She is now working on transforming her PhD thesis on Russian women artists and the Great War into a monograph.
