Our traditional Mushroom Walk & BBQ is the perfect way to enjoy a lovely day out for the whole family before winter. Fresh air, great company. Everyone is very welcome! Kid-friendly.<\/p>\n

WHEN:<\/strong> Sunday, 15 October, mushroom walk before 14:00 followed by BBQ 14:00-17:00 (BST)
\nWHERE:<\/strong> Forest Shelter, Go Ape, High Lodge, Thetford Forest, Brandon, Suffolk IP27 0AF (BBQ pit \u2018Shelter\u2019 near Go Ape Thetford, 01603 895500).

Fee:<\/strong> Free event but registration is required. Please register here<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

NB:<\/strong>\u00a0There is very weak phone coverage in the forest, please plan ahead. If you cannot find our BBQ pit please find the GoApe and ask for the \u2018Shelter\u2019.<\/p>\n

In the morning:\u00a0FREE-STYLE MUSHROOM-HUNTING<\/em>.<\/strong>\u00a0Everyone is welcome to arrive in their own time to explore different parts of the woods. A good place to start mushroom-hunting is the Lynford Stag parking area, Thetford Forest, Suffolk IP27 0TJ (on the A134 by the huge wooden stag).<\/p>\n

In the afternoon:\u00a0BBQ.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>We shall then all meet up for our traditional BBQ at\u00a014:00\u00a0<\/strong>(High Lodge, Thetford Forest, Brandon, Suffolk IP27 0AF<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n

Please bring food and drink to share, including something for the BBQ.<\/strong><\/p>\n
