We aspire to build up intercultural connections, and promote mutual support and understanding.\u00a0We collaborate with other local voluntary groups and organisations, who share similar interests, and support a number of community projects.<\/p>\n<p>CamRuSS is run by a Board of Trustees with the support of an Organising Committee.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Administrative support for CamRuSS activities.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To provide assistance with planning, organising and monitoring CamRuSS events in Cambridge.<\/li>\n<li>To maintain regular effective and efficient communications with CamRuSS members, volunteers, trustees and the wider public via email, CamRuSS website, mailings, social media.<\/li>\n<li>To act as a point of contact\/liaison for event organisers, volunteers and wider public for events.<\/li>\n<li>To monitor income, expenses and memberships by event.<\/li>\n<li>To provide periodic activity reports to the Board of Trustees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills, Knowledge &amp; Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CamRuSS is looking for a responsible, self-disciplined and friendly team-player with a positive and proactive approach to life and work<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication skills (English and Russian\/spoken and written)<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in managing social networks and websites.<\/li>\n<li>Competence with Microsoft office and Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Some events management experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Eligible to work in the UK.<\/li>\n<li>Preferably Cambridge-based.<\/li>\n<li>References from previous employers or business contacts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Experience working in a charitable\/voluntary sector or understanding the specifics of working for a charitable organisation.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Remuneration and benefits:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contract \u2013 12 months with potential for extension.<\/li>\n<li>Flexible working \u2013 expected 10-15 hours\/week.<\/li>\n<li>Home-based.<\/li>\n<li>Rate &#8211; \u00a39\/hour.<\/li>\n<li><em>Free entry to CamRuSS event<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to apply: <\/strong><br \/>\nPlease send your CV (<strong>in English<\/strong>) and a short covering letter (<strong>in Russian<\/strong>) to: \u202f<a href=\"mailto:camruss@camruss.com\">camruss@camruss.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CamRuSS Part-time Administrator (starting from end of September 2020) Deadline for applications\u00a0has been extended until:\u00a0Monday 14th\u00a0September 2020.
