On Wednesday Cambridge University Russian Society is organizing a talk by Vladimir Sevrinovsky, translator of poetry from English into Russian.<br \/>\nVladimir is the winner of the international contest of poetry translators &#8220;Pushkin in Britain-2011\u201d. He has translated many poems by Shel Silverstein, Edward Thomas, Charles Causley and other authors.<br \/>\nThis talk will be about translators&#8217; mistakes &#8211; sad and funny, bad and wonderful. Some of them ruined translations, others made them better than originals.
