Irina Kirillova MBE in conversation with Rachel Polonsky, followed by Q&A and Drinks Reception

Join us for the latest instalment of our ‘Russia in my Life’ series. Irina Kirillova MBE is a Fellow Emerita of Newnham College, Dostoevsky scholar and translator to the royal family. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the All-Russia State Library for Foreign Literature (VGBIL) and a former trustee of Pushkin House in London. Also, Irina has played a role as chairman of the diocese of Sourozh (the diocese of the Orthodox Church covering the UK).
Dr Rachel Polonsky, a Fellow of Murray Edwards College and author of ‘Molotov’s Magic Lantern‘ will explore these varied and fascinating aspects of Irina’s life and her connection with Russia.
